Format – Sealed Pack: Each player will receive one 1^st Edition competition pack and two 1^st Edition Part 2 booster packs. 45 card minimum (including resources, not including faction card).

Tournaments with 17 or more players will cut to a top 8. For the playoffs, players will play in a booster draft (1^st Edition/1^st Edition/1^st Edition Part 2). Less than 17 players will cut to a top 4. For the playoffs, players will continue to play the deck they played in the preliminary rounds.

The number of rounds is based on the number of players in the tournament.

Our very own Dan Sotelo beat our own "Vader" in the finals to win the Spoils Invitational Sealed Deck Tournament last weekend wining $400, a set of the five ultra-rare foil "invitational" cards, and a place on the Spoils Cruise in the Caribbean with a spot in the $400,000 tournament that will be held on the cruise.

Dan earned his spot in the Invitational by winning one of the ten "Qualifier" tournaments held here at Grasshopper's.  At the FREE Invitational Tournament, Dan and the other 11 Hopper's players who qualified each received free decks to compete with.  The next round of Qualifier Tournaments starts soon.  Each player can only qualify once, so we'll be sending ten players to the next Invitational Tournament to fight it out for their spot on the cruise.

It also looks like we'll definitely be a stop on the Spoils Bus Tour, where the Spoils people will be coming to see us, complete with a Tour Bus!  Spoils is a great game and Dan and Terence are always available to teach you how to play if you want to join the fun.

Grasshopper's is once again proud to be hosting the Regional Invitational Qualifier Tournaments for SPOILS throughout.  Check out our Event Calendar for all the information on our weekly SPOILS events.

Each week for 8 weeks, the winner at each event will get an invitation to their regional Invitational (there is no other way to get an invite to this event aside from playing in your local store!). At the regional Invitational players have a chance to win their share of $1,000 in cash and prizes, along with the winner receiving 50 STE points, enough points to earn them a cabin on the $400,000 Championship Cruise, taking place near the end of next year.
